
Nuray Filiz
Nuray completed her banking studies in Germany in 1990 and later earned a Bachelor's degree in the same field at Uludağ University. She began her career in 1993 at Pamukbank after completing the Management Trainee (MT) Program. Following her training, she worked in various branches within the Corporate Marketing team.
After Pamukbank, she worked in various branches of Osmanlı Bankası, Tekstil Bank, and Alternatif Bank. During this time, she worked in sales and marketing roles for the Business, SME, Commercial, and Corporate banking clients of these institutions and also served as Branch Manager.
In 2002, she took a break from banking and, together with her husband, founded a training company providing sales and marketing, credit evaluation, and risk management training to many banks.
Following the death of her husband in 2007, Nuray returned to the banking sector, working for Finansbank as a Branch Manager for four years; she then served as the Regional Manager of Loans in the Istanbul Anatolian Region. Nuray, who continued in the same role until 2013, later retired from this position.
During her final years in banking, she also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of California. After retirement, she completed her Master's degree in Psychology at the same university. Nuray, who also holds a PhD in Psychology, has worked as a psychologist in various institutions.
Having spent the last 14 years of her 23-year banking experience as a manager, Nuray, after gaining experience in banking, designed and taught courses in Asset-Liability Management, Balance Sheet Reading, Customer Satisfaction (CRM), and Consumer Behavior in the German Business Administration undergraduate and graduate programs at Yeditepe University for approximately 5 years.
Since her retirement, Nuray has also been providing consultancy services to real sector companies, offering services in performance systems, financial management and restructuring, budget creation, cash management, asset-liability management, and financial reporting applications. Nuray, who speaks German and English and has a daughter, continues her training activities at Arma Education and Consulting, which she joined at the beginning of 2018.
